Under the rules of present federal legislation, the board of trade of the state of Amapá-Jucap is a government institution established by decree no. Drei.

The JUCAP has its base and constitutional authority in Macapá, and it has control over the whole region of Amapá. In the defined territory under its jurisdiction, the commercial board of the state of Amapá administers and implements the national registration of mercantile organizations and associated matters. It aims to facilitate public company filing and other operations in the state of Amapá by acting as a bridge between the registration and licensing authorities.
