The Business Registration Division is in charge of the processing and maintenance of registrations by corporate bodies, general and limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, and public limited liability corporations, and the filing of trade names, trademarks, brand marks, and publicity name rights, amongst others. Under the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA), the office ensures all business documents and annual reports are filed and managed expeditiously
How it works
Business owners can submit filings online at https://hbe.ehawaii.gov/BizEx. Or click on ‘Manage’ to submit annual reports. If you log in before submitting an annual report or purchasing a document, you can track the submission, and even view submitted and approved copies for free on My Dashboard. Business forms submitted online can be tracked in My Dashboard after logging onto the site.
BREG DCCA staff are always available during business hours; 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, except during state holidays.

Manage your annual report
Companies, LLCs, and partnerships established within the state have to file annual reports/statements with the Business Registration Division. The annual report/statement serves as authentic information for the public about the legally operating business entity, though, it should not include financial information. A corporation has to file forgotten annual reports before filing the present year’s annual report. This can easily be done on the site.

My Dashboard
The My Dashboard feature helps business owners manage their businesses and related support activities. It has options such as the Find your business (enter your file number or business name), location of file number, etc.

Register a business online
Here, all business registrations are filed with the department. Since the registration forms are simple to fill out, they only request information that meets up to Hawaii’s statutory requirements.

Filings via email, mail, and fax are usually accepted, but, the processing times take longer than with online filing. When you want to email document filings to breg-doci-filing@dcca.hawaii.gov, kindly include a brief memo consisting of valid contact information and a working email address with the filing. Once approved, the documents will be sent via email upon return.
