JUCEES’ organizational primary aim is to increasingly coincide its tasks with financial improvement guidelines, lowering bureaucracy and inspire the entrepreneurial spirit, and be a reference model in public administration. It is officially connected to the Secretary of State for Finance (SEFAZ) and technologically to the National Department of Trade Registration (DNRC).
It’s a computerized data-sharing network that connects the council, the federal income service, the general ministry of finance, and around 45 municipalities in greater Vitoria and the countryside. All of this is done for citizens to register their businesses more quickly, with less bureaucracy, and at a lower cost.
JUCEES’ principal purpose is to become a model mercantile registration institution that is modern, efficient, decentralized, and democratic.
Its goal is to encourage, facilitate, and simplify the commercial registration of firms and businesses in accordance with social and economic development policies, thereby contributing to the creation of wealth, employment, and income in Espirito Santo. This corporation also strives for transparency, efficacy, safety, agility, competence, and credibility, among other things.
Responsibilities of JUCEES
The authority is responsible for the following, according to article 2 of DECREE No. 2772 -R (Jucees Internal Regulations):
- Perform services related to commercial company registration, such as:
- The filing of acts relating to the formation, amendment, dissolution, and extinction of commercial businesses, cooperatives, micro, and small business declarations, and actions relating to consortia and groupings of enterprises covered by the corporation legislation;
- The filing of acts relating to foreign commercial entities that have been granted permission to operate in the country;
- The registration of actions or papers allocated to the Public Registry of Commercial Businesses and Associated Matters by legal resolution, as well as those that may be of interest to entrepreneurs or commercial companies;
- Under the rules of the relevant law, verification of the bookkeeping tools of established commercial organizations and associated agents of commerce;
- The issue of archived documentation certificates.
- JUCEES make a price list for the services they provide to you.
- Auxiliary trading agents, owners of individual mercantile enterprises, and managers of mercantile and cooperative societies listed in the Public Registry of Mercantile Enterprises and Related Activities are issued professional practice cards at JUCEES.
- Provide the quality Policy to ensure that clients’ needs and expectations for the Mercantile Registry are met, and also provide a flexible, safe, and qualified environment to make the registration process easier.
Registration of auctioneer
The Auctioneer is a facilitator, intermediary, and organizer of selling certain goods through a public offering. The Auctioneers’ role is to sell goods entrusted to them through tender offers. The registration of an auctioneer is one of the JUCEEC’s main responsibilities.
Documents including RG and CPF, proof of registration status, marriage or birth certificate, proof of residence, proof of state fee payment, a negative certificate in the criminal instance, and a completed professional identity form with the photo are required for enrollment and appointment. If the candidate is from another state, he must additionally provide a new endorsement, as well as a bank guarantee and guarantee insurance.
